Crossing Borders - A 3 Week Motorcycle Journey (in short)

Departure Day, with our dear friend and massive supporter, Karen King

Well, almost 3 months have already passed since we returned from our exciting little trip. It's bewildering just how quickly one gets absorbed back in to the normal routines of life; it's almost as if we never even went on a trip.

But we did, and it was flipping AMAZING!

Nsoku, Lubombo, Swaziland

I've been swamped at work, straight off the bat. Season kicked in just as we were returning from the road, and I tend to draw out our travels to the very last day, the day before I have to be back at the office. This doesn't leave much time for processing and blogging, which then falls by the wayside.
I'd rather spend more time in the road, than on the web though, especially when you experience places like this...

Cintsa, Eastern Cape

I will be posting more on the trip, but here's a video of a small part of Stage 3. We had already been on the road for 2 weeks by this point, which was the maximum time The Goose could take off from work, so she hopped on a flight from Port Elizabeth back to Cape Town. I returned to Jeffrey's Bay where I was joined by my dear friends and fellow bikers Andrew King and Steven van Sittert, who would then join me for Stage 3, covering Baviaanskloof Mega Reserve on route back to Cape Town.

Keep checking in here, as there's still stories to be told and pictures to be viewed. There's even a full video in the making, which I promise will be worth the wait...!
